Man, this was the waterborne equivalent of the jeepney depot. I swear I saw gondolieri feet sticking out from under a few of the gondolas - they must have been working on the engines or changing oil... hahaha! Maybe during hot summer days, they's float their boats down the canals with a "good morning" towel wrapped around their necks (or their heads)...
